A finance training and consulting firm, operating under the Top Finance brand, that sells in French and English. The project started with a version migration and continued with the part that often gets overlooked: making the same database both the management tool and the lead generation engine.
A migration that only made sense if the website followed
Morgan Europe was running on an Odoo 16 database. Moving to version 19 was not an end in itself: the goal was to finally sell and capture leads from the same tool, in French and in English. A successful migration that left the website, marketing and payments out would not have changed anything in the team's day-to-day work.
- A version migration is not just a version number bump. Customizations built up on a production database must be reviewed one by one, decided on, and sometimes dropped in favor of standard features.
- A multilingual website is more than translated pages. Content, forms, documents and sales flows must follow the visitor's language, without duplicating the catalog.
- Lead generation does not come out of the box. Nothing out of the box connects a downloadable resource, the lead it creates and the marketing sequence that should follow.
- A poorly connected online payment setup produces two versions of the accounting truth, the payment provider's and the management system's.
A migration, then the whole lead generation chain on the same database

A single database for management, the website and payments
A visitor lands on the website in their language, downloads a resource, becomes an identified lead, receives the sequence that matches what they read, and pays online without anyone re-entering anything. All in Odoo, with no add-on tools.
Do your website and your management system live in two separate worlds?
The question is not whether Odoo can build a website. It is whether the contact generated by that website reaches your management system without a person re-entering it. That is where the difference lies.
